Secret Pal Questionaire
1) Favorite yarn: Anything natural and soft. I hate anything scratchy or obviously not from nature.
2) Needle storage: I have a few roll-up cases, but it seems like the size I need is never in them. I might try felting a tube-like vase and just sticking them in that!
3) How long knitting? I'm an intermediate knitter who's been at it regularly for only a couple years. I've been a spinner for decades, however. That sounds odd, but it's the truth.
4) Wish list? I don't have an Amazon or other official wish list.
5) Favorite scent? Lavender because it helps repel moths! Any herbal moth deterrant is a favorite.
6) Sweet tooth? I'm trying to deny it! (Weight IS an issue.)
7) Other crafts? I love spinning and photography.
8) Fav music? All kinds. Lately into Big Band and Frank Sinatra type oldies! and Latin! It's always changing. Don't do MP3s yet (technically challenged).
9) Favorite color/s? I love working with all kinds of colors, and take great joy in combining colors in my rovings for handspinning, etc. There's no color I hate in the right combination with others, although I know I don't look good in yellow or orange.
10) My family? I'm single and surrounded by a pack of dogs, one house cat, and the barn critters.
11) Do I wear scarves? not really. Hats? yes. Mittens? yes Ponchos? maybe
12) Favorite item to knit? Socks, hats, mittens, felted bags.
13) Knitting right now? Socks, fingerless mitts, tot's sweater
14) Do I like handmade gifts? Sure!
15) Prefer straight or circ needles? Either. Prefer wood, bamboo, or Bryspun/Ballene over metal (too cold and clackety!); prefer double points for socks etc.
16) Do I own a yarnwinder and swift: My two favorite toys! Definitely.
17) Oldest UFO? About 2 years old!
18) Favorite holiday? Christmas
19) I collect "sheep" mugs (mugs picturing sheep)
20) Any books, patterns, etc. I want? Dying to get my hands on a Scandinavian twined knitting book or pattern. And...

22) Am I a sock knitter? YES YES YES (always have some in the works)
